Sightseeing

A visit to Athens would not be complete without a tour of its principal modern and classical landmarks. Let us introduce you to its glorious past—spanning millennia of history—juxtaposed to the thriving elements of a dynamic 21st century metropolis.

In addition to our city tours, allow our concierge to make arrangements for one of the following excursions:

Sounion – The drive along the coastal road takes you past the countless private coves and lovely beaches of Glyfada and Varkiza. From the comfort of the luxury motorcoach, bask in the splendid views of the Saronic Gulf as you head toward the tip of the Attiki peninsula to Cape Sounion. Here on a cliff top overhanging the deep green Aegean Sea stands the tour’s ultimate destination—the spectacular Temple of Poseidon, built in the Doric style in 5th century B.C as a place of worship to the god of the Sea.

Hydra, Poros & Aegina – You will travel by luxury motorcoach from Athens to Piraeus Port and embark on a cruise ship for your sail to the island of Hydra. Enjoy the pristine beaches and warm ocean, sip an ouzo in a local taverna or wander down pave stone streets lined by characteristic red-tiled homes. In the early afternoon, set sail for the lovely island of Aegina, passing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of Poros. In Aegina, you will delight in a vibrant self-contained fishing community that has managed to retain its island customs and authentic flavour.
