A tranquil oasis in the heart of the Hotel Grande Bretagne, the Winter Garden offers the city's most elegant and enchanting refuge for a European breakfast, light lunch, high tea or dinner accompanied by live piano music.
 
A beautiful extension of the hotel's historic lobby, the Winter Garden is a beautiful atrium space, designed to offer guests a respite far from the dash of city life. Gorgeous stained glass adorns the ceiling, graceful columns underscore the impressive height  and the intricate marble floor grounds the space with masterful detailing. The opulence of the setting is offset by a delicate palette of creams and gold, and an abundance of natural light from the windows that overlook the atrium garden. Potted palms add a whimsical touch to the décor. A soothing water feature and the soft tinkling of live piano music echo the overall feeling of calm and refined turn-of-the-century elegance.
 
Reminiscent of a scene from an epic film such as "1900" directed by world-renowned Bernardo Bertolucci, a past guest of the hotel, the Winter Garden celebrates world-class hospitality and style. The sparkle of crystal glasses, the rich hand of damask napkins and the gleam of polished silver speak to the impeccable service you may enjoy here throughout the day.
 
The café-style restaurant of the Winter Garden is open daily from 8:00am in the morning until 1:00am from October to May and from 8:00am until 00:00 at night from May to October, serving a multitude of purposes-a stylish spot to enjoy a drink with friends, a discreet setting for a business meeting, or a lovely start to the day over fresh-brewed coffee and warm-from-the-oven pastries. A light lunch menu and tasty small plates are also available throughout the day.
